Tutoring

Every pupil at Glenalmond is part of a House-based tutor group and sees their tutor three times each week.

The tutor works closely with the pupil to support him or her. They are the pupil's champion, their mentor, and the first port of contact for any concerns our pupils may have. Academically, the tutor supports the pupil's progress and has an overview of his or her performance. The Tutor helps set realistic and ambitious targets and supports the pupil to achieve them through one-to-one discussions and the delivery of a robust Learning to Learn programme focused on the science of learning, organisation, and revision strategies
