At Glenalmond College we have a Sixth Form club, the Moncrieff Centre, where those in the Lower and Upper Sixth gather throughout the day and evening to socialise.
We host social evenings and there are three formal balls each year in addition to the Leavers' Ball, St Andrew's Night, Burn's Night, and St Valentine's Night. A strictly monitored amount of alcohol is served with food to all Sixth formers on Saturday nights.
The Moncrieff Centre is a licensed club with a pupil-led social committee. Decisions are made as to expenditure and the shape of social events. A team of tutors also help with supervision and many other staff drop in on Saturdays to mix with the older pupils in an informal atmosphere.
