GLENALMOND APPOINTS HEAD OF HOCKEY

A very warm welcome to Mr Will Murray who has been appointed Head of Hockey at Glenalmond College and joins us next month.

Originally from the Midlands, Mr Murray has coached hockey extensively for over a decade, having begun as a university coach and also worked with Scotland Hockey.

He has completed the Advanced Coach programme with GB Hockey and is currently completing his postgraduate diploma at Birmingham.

Mr Murray has held numerous coaching positions at university level, coached with England Hockey, the England U18 and U17 teams as well as the England Masters squad as well as running his own independent coaching business.

He was Head of Hockey at Hymers College for six years and also coached cricket. Will joins Glenalmond from Arlon Hockey Club in Belgium where he has been Technical Director, as well as the founder of Left Field Thinking, a development platform for coaching.
