PENNY FARTHING #CHALLENGE175 SUCCESS

Glenalmond pupils and staff welcomed parent and Council member, David Fox-Pitt MBE, safely back after an epic 14 hour Penny Farthing trip on Sunday.

Darkness was starting to fall as David arrived back to the Glenalmond College grounds to be met with cheering pupils and bagpipe playing.

David's bid to raise funds for our #Challenge175 bursary appeal saw him bypass his 175km target and cycle (wearing a kilt!) 184km in one day, on a route he had chosen for its Roman Camp history.

Well done to David, who has raised almost £10,000 for our appeal to provide bursaries for young people who would not otherwise be able to attend Glenalmond College.
