WEEK OF SPORTING SUCCESS AT GLENALMOND

The past week has seen the hard work of our pupils and coaches coming to fruition with some great performances by our runners and our rugby, hockey and basketball teams.

Our Glenalmond runners came an amazing second in the Scottish Schools Athletics Association Road Race Championship held at Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline this week.
Among the highlights was a win by our Girls' Hockey First Team against Kilgraston after a 2-2 draw was followed by a thrilling penalty shootout. They will now progress to the next round of the Midland cup.
Our First XV enjoyed a superb game of rugby against Morrison's Academy this week, underpinning a fabulous week of sporting performances - including hockey, running and basketball - by our pupils! Our Basketball team also had a win. The team was playing Merchiston and the final score was 47:64.
