We hope many of you were able to join us for our Online Commem on Saturday morning when this year’s online adaption of our traditional service in Chapel was followed by prize-giving.

As well as all the traditional favourites of our annual end-of-year event, we also had a special surprise from our staff for our wonderful Upper Sixth leavers to send them on their way.

Our event featured an address by our Chairman, Niall Booker, and an address and reading by our Warden, Dr Michael Alderson. Following this, our 2020/21 Captains of Coll, Leon and Louisa, gave a joint address reflecting on their College experience.

Our service was led by our Chaplain, Rev Stephen Graham and the Bishop of St Andrew’s, Dunkeld and Dunblane, the Right Reverend Ian Paton.

Director of Music, Dr Tim Ridley, led our music including ‘Holy, Holy, Holy’ along with ‘Te Deum’ before our audience was invited to join us for ‘The Carmen’, traditionally sung at the end of the prize-giving ceremony.

The morning ended with members of our pipe band, led by Head of Pipes and Drums, Mr Brian Elrick, playing in our Front Quad, before the doors under Front Arch were closed, signalling the end of our academic year.

Our whole Commem service can be watched here.

We shared our service and addresses via social media, so be sure to check our Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
