This Thursday (October 4th) our Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Form Physics classes will be taking part in World Space Week, including an online event hosted by TV presenter Campbell Dallas, a former pupil of Glenalmond.

Dr Kinge and Mr Smith will be broadcasting Space events to their classes as part of  https://stemfest.org.uk/

As part of World Space Week (4-10 October), the event aims to encourage and engage as many young people as possible in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects to help them consider a career in this field when they are older.

Young people will be able to learn and be inspired from the comfort of their own classroom and interact with STEM Ambassadors who work or support the international space industry.

The event will be delivered online and hosted by TV presenter and stage actor, Dallas Campbell OG, who will link the sessions in addition to presenting his own space-themed live talk.

Dallas is best known from the BBC One science series Bang Goes the Theory, and has presented many other science and space TV documentaries over the years.
