Minor Storm Damage But Power Still Down

While Glenalmond College has sustained no serious damage due to Storm Arwen, we are still encountering some power problems.

We are very grateful to everyone, including Tim Holden and Mark Sinclair, who has helped with the clear-up of branches etc today.
As in the case of  many other rural communities, our electricity supply has been affected and this is also affecting mobile connectivity at school. We expect our electricity supply to be restored very soon. While most of our pupils are away from school for Leave-out, the pupils who are at school are all well and keen to reassure any parents struggling to contact them due to the power outage and related connectivity issues.
